Key Features

Exceptional Durability

Constructed with full-height interlocking steel ribs continuously welded at the seams, these doors deliver maximum structural rigidity. They resist warping and denting, even under heavy abuse and frequent use.

Long-Term Performance

Welded seams prevent internal deterioration and preserve door integrity, while the all-steel construction ensures consistent strength over time, even in harsh or high-moisture environments.

Enhanced Security

The fully welded internal rib design offers superior resistance to forced entry and tampering. This makes them ideal for high-security environments like correctional, military, and utility facilities.

Low Maintenance

The design minimizes maintenance needs by reducing vulnerabilities to internal damage, delamination, or structural failure. Ideal for facilities requiring reliable, long-life performance with minimal service.

Material Thickness Options

Weld Seam Interlocking Doors are available in both 16 Gauge and 14 Gauge steel.

One of the thickest standard materials used in the industry. Offers a very high level of security and durability.

The thickest and strongest material used in the construction of our doors. Typically used in our Weld Seam and STC series doors.

Insulated Core Options

Our welded seam interlocking rib doors are insulated with fibreglass.

Seam Edge Options

Weld Seam Interlocking Ribs Steel Doors are continuously welded along the vertical door edges.

Weld Seam

A strong, sealed joint that forms a single structural unit, enhancing strength and preventing moisture or air infiltration. After welding, the seams are ground smooth and filled or sanded to create a seamless appearance, especially for painted or architectural finishes.

Elevation Options

Whether you need visibility, air circulation or want natural light to come through, our door elevation* options allow you to meet any need or style.

* Door elevations refer to the various lite cutouts when specified by the architect.

Doors with a lite cutout will be supplied with either a snap-in glazing kit or screw-in thermal kit, depending on specifications (glass is to be supplied and installed by others).

See our resources page for technical information.
